Pregnancy Exercise For Sciatica Pain

Back Lunges
  • In the 3rd trimester, heaviness & pain in legs, leads to lethargy

Simple techniques
  1. Warm up by marching on the spot and doing ankle rotations

    1. Stand with your feet together and take the support of a heavy chair
    2. Take a step back with one leg and keep your foot firmly on the ground
    3. Lower the knee of the back-leg. Avoid touching the floor
    4. Hold this position for 5 counts
    5. Bring the foot back to the starting position
    6. Repeat the same steps with the other leg
    7. Do a minimum of 8 repetitions with each leg
    8. Increase the counts as per your capacity
  • Avoid exercising on an empty stomach
