Homemade flavored waters is the best way these days to reduce the intake of aerated drinks and sugar intake with the various beverages we consume. Preparing such waters is very simple, cheap, straightforward and a way healthier option. In today’s stressful and fatigued life, we all have realized how important it is to stay hydrated. A lemon infused water is the easiest and the most refreshing to make. Lemons are known to help in weight loss and has a cleansing effect on the liver and are also very flavorful.
A rosemary orange and lime infused water is simple to make too. Slice two limes, one orange and a sprig of rosemary and add to the Aqua or Citrus Zinger. Top up with water, shake and leave for an hour. Rosemary contains powerful antioxidants and is believed to improve memory, while the orange contains a natural vitamin C. There are no calories in this drink.
Watermelon and Jalapeños water is loaded with vitamins A and C. Spicy jalapeños contain capsaicin, which causes the body to release endorphins. These hormones are happiness hormones and create an energizing rush.
Orange slices and Vanilla bean infused water is another refreshing recipe! If you don’t have vanilla bean handy, you can substitute with vanilla extract. This recipe is rich in anti-oxidants, that will help you get a beautiful and glowing skin!
