Benefits of Essential Oils

Essential oils are great for the skin. Many cosmetics contain harmful chemicals that are being absorbed into the skin everyday which is why it’s important to consider a safe alternative that is not only non-toxic but nourishing and replenish.  Essential oils have properties that can sooth, moisturize, tone, exfoliate and heal the skin. They minimize the appearance of wrinkles by rejuvenating and hydrating mature and damaged skin. When combined with a good base oil of which there are many to choose from you can keep your skin moisturized and give it a more youthful appearance. Essential oils help to tone the skin as they have an astringent effect. A toner made with essential oils will replenish moisture, minimize the appearance of wrinkles, hydrate damaged skin and balance the pH level of the skin. It will also shrink the skin pores and tighten the skin.
