Anaemia is a common blood disorder. In this condition the number of red blood cells in the blood reduce which makes it difficult for the blood to carry oxygen to the brain and other parts of the body.
This leads to fatigue, dizziness, pale skin, shortness of breath and headaches. It may also result in cold hands and feet.
Deficiency of iron, vitamin B12 and folic acid leads to anaemia. Loss of blood due to menstrual bleeding, wounds, peptic ulcers or any other reason can also lead to this condition.
