Common cold is a viral infection that affects the upper respiratory tract. There are over 250 different viruses that can cause common cold. When one of these viruses enters into the nose via surrounding air, it gets stuck to the lining of the nose and the throat, causing infection. At this point, the body’s immune system starts fighting against the virus with the help of white blood cells; in process, spending body’s energy & making one feel weak and tried.
